Nepsydaz ::


     Music as we all know is one of the most precious cultural heritages where Nepal stands as high as the Mount Everest itself. But in a culturally and traditionally oriented country like Nepal, Rappers are unwanted. It is hard to establish a good perception of modern hip-hop & rap music, especially when the country is not moving ahead as it is suppose to. Even in times like this, Da Nepsydaz is still struggling to get that high level prestige among other various modern music bands. Da Nepsydaz simply meaning, the hip-hop slang stands for Nepalese citizen who are indeed in a series to represent their country as a whole. It was originally formed with a motive of creating a new vision in music for the young generation along with a new aroma of millennium. As every single thing has some reason in it, the band members Manas Ghale aka Loorey and Kiran Shrestha aka Mistah K. were joined by a good friend Gyanon Chitrakar aka O level to add some more sugar in their musical experiment. With every sunshine and sunset, these three talented youngsters cooperated very effectively in order to build their musical passion stronger. With the click of a clock, they started composing songs and writing lyrics. Finally in the month of July, they released their very first composition on a local FM Station which was a first booming step they made as being too young to achieve a job like that. As success started flowing around them, for the song Hell Raiser, they became Nominees for the Best Song in a foreign language at the Hits Fm Music Awards in the year 2003. And Loorey (manas) featured with fellow nepali hiphopper shrieking in the track entitled Another love song which got nominated in the first ever Channel nepal’s Video music award in the year 2004. In the month of October 2004, they released their debut album with a title KTM Reality and became more popular in the media.
