THE UGLYZ::

"The Uglyz" were formed back in 95' by Sudip and Sarun, Initially, like any of the Kathmandu based rock bands they were eager to live for the music but as they grew older and years passed by they decided to come up with an album. Meanwhile, Sarun was studing in Sydney and the band couldnt do any of their own projects. It was only last year in 2004 that Sarun came back to Kathmandu after finishing his studies and teamed up with Sudip to fulfill their dream. Along with them it was Sandesh on violin who gelled and gave a new taste to the Nepalese music industry.

"The Uglyz" as we know now need not much of an introduction. The work they have performed in their debut album "Rush" are exceptional and are selling like hot cakes in the market. They have been able to hit the market and sustain from the day 1. Their album "Rush" is one of the fastest and largest selling album of the year. Whether it be the music video, the songs or the lyrics, they have never compromised and always tried to give their best as they think that " music is something that can be created but the audiences are the one who decide to accept or ignore them, so if you work hard on what u think is the best then it will definately take you to the peak"

The Band is touring right now to major Cities in Nepal and outside along with the other band mates Deepesh (Bass Guitar), Sachin (Keyboards), Poojan (Drums). Watch out for their tour schedules in your town, you never know where and when they would be performing.
